A little about me..

I am a qualified integrative counsellor devoted to supporting adults on their unique journeys of self-discovery and healing. I live and work in the Cheltenham area. I have a diploma in integrative counselling through the CPCAB and am registered with the BACP and NCPS (the two largest professional counselling bodies in the UK).

I am committed to delivering exceptional care and maintaining the highest standards in my practice. I hold professional insurance, ensuring peace of mind.

I have an unwavering passion for the profound benefits that counselling can offer. I firmly believe that each person has the innate capacity to grow, heal, and thrive, and it is my privilege to walk alongside them on their courageous journey of self-exploration.

However, I understand that reaching out for counselling can be an intimidating step. That's why I strive to cultivate a warm and welcoming environment, one where my clients can feel at ease, as soon as we meet. With a relaxed and friendly approach, I create a safe space where open and honest conversations can flourish, empowering individuals to share their deepest thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment.

In addition to my private practice, I also work with local charities, extending my skills to address specialised areas of need. This partnership allows me to make a positive impact in the wider community, reaching those who may benefit from counselling support but face unique challenges or barriers.

I approach counselling in an integrative way, drawing upon two different therapeutic approaches and tailoring them to meet the specific needs of each individual. By integrating techniques from person-centered and psychodynamic approaches, I provide a comprehensive and adaptable framework for growth and healing.

My commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development ensures that I stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field. By continuously expanding my knowledge and skills, I strive to offer my clients the most effective and up-to-date therapeutic interventions available.

Whether you're navigating a difficult life transition, grappling with emotional challenges, or seeking personal growth, I am here to provide unwavering support and guidance. Together, we can embark on a transformative journey, uncovering insights, building resilience, and the tools for a more satisfying life.

I often work with people who are suffering with depression or anxiety, bereavement, relationship difficulties as well as people who feel they do not have the direction or purpose in life that they would wish.

If you're ready to take that brave step towards self-discovery and healing, I invite you to reach out and begin your counselling journey with me.

The way I work

Below are some details on way that I currently provide therapy. Which ever way you choose to receive therapy with me, it will always be an integrative way, and allow for your own autonomy. I am a great believer that the individual truly is the expert on their own life and I will happily work with you in a non-judgemental way.

My rate is £50 for a 50 minute session. A subsidised rate is available for Level 4 counselling students.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and Talk involves us meeting in a location in the Cheltenham area where we have our counselling in an outside environment, whilst in a natural setting.

We meet in a location where there is access to services such as toilets and coffee available. With parking nearby. I have set this at 55 minutes rather than the usual 50 minutes to allow for the few inevitable distractions whilst out.

This of course can be tailored to someone who would find walking too tiring or is unable but would like a more natural setting.

Face to Face Sessions

This is in a therapy room session and is for the standard 50 minutes, usually referred to as a therapeutic hour.

I do believe that there is a benefit to meeting in person, as it can be part of the experience, even the journey to and from counselling can be beneficial.

Online Therapy

I know for some individuals, it can be difficult to physically get to therapy sessions and therefore I do also offer counselling via Google Meet (very similar to Zoom/Teams and not difficult to use).
